Tasting Notes

Named after the birth place of Jan Van Riebeeck, the man who set up the Dutch East India company in South Africa and planted the first vines in the Cape, which gave rise to the flourishing South African wine industry we all know so well today. Chenin Blanc is South Africa’s most widely planted white grape variety. This example is just off dry with crisp, green apple style fruit flavours and is very easy drinking in style.

Wine Making Notes

Modern cool fermentation in stainless steel with early bottling to conserve freshness.
