At the family Domaine of Alain Geoffroy they make classic unoaked Chablis in a rounder more approachable style, which makes for a better wine. The Domaine was established in 1850 and they own 45 hectares of vineyards in prime locations. This Chablis was made from vines between 20 to 40 years old and is crisp and minerally in style.
Cool temperature controlled fermentation in tanks followed by maturation on fine lees for added richness.
Established since 1850, the Alain Geoffroy estate is a family business growing around 45 hectares and producing Chablis wines that uphold the tradition and authenticity of the terroir. The Chablis vineyard is one of the oldest in France.
