Casa Vinicola Botter began in 1928, founded by Carlo Botter in Veneto, north east Italy. Now in the third generation of the family Botter have vineyard holdings in strategic parts of Italy and state of the art ageing and bottling facilities. Altana di Vico Salento Rosso comes from Puglia on the heel of Italy. The wine is made from Sangiovese and Negroamaro grapes, smooth and soft in style with a hint of spice.
Short temperature controlled fermentation on the skins followed by ageing in tank and early bottling to conserve the fruit driven character of the wine.
