The origins of this champagne house date back to 1812 and its current name came into existence when Mathilde Emilie Perrier, the widow of Eugene Laurent, combined the two family names. The rosé is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes and the pink colour is obtained by a short maceration on the grape skins which gives this champagne its characteristic depth of flavour.
Following the assemblage of the final blend the Champagne is kept for four years on its lees in bottle before being disgorged.
