Clos de Lolol, Hacienda Araucano - £18.29

Grapes are grown in the unique cooler area of Lolol in the western part of the Colchagua Valley which is influenced by the cooling influence of the Pacific ocean. Consequently the wines have more restraint and greater depth than those grown in the warmer plains.

Aged for 18 months in oak barrels to mellow and develop complexity. The wine was awarded 83 points in Wine Spectator April 2008 and is only available in limited quantities.
