  1. What if the product I have ordered is not in stock?

    We endeavour to keep good stocks of all our products at all times, however should a particular product not be available we will contact you to let you know of the expected date of delivery, or suggest a suitable alternative.

  2. What if the advertised vintage of a certain wine is no longer available?

    Although we make every effort to keep the website up to date with current vintages, it is not always possible to accurately predict when a vintage may change. If an advertised vintage is no longer available, we may notify you and delivery to you an alternative vintage by way of substitution. Should you not be satisfied, you may return the goods (see our terms & conditions for details) your statutory rights are unaffected.

  3. What if the product I ordered is not what I expected?

    Grape Passions are committed to sourcing quality products at good value for money, however if you are not entirely satisfied with your goods, and wish to cancel your order you may do so within 7 days of your delivery being received. To cancel your order please telephone or e-mail us and you will be given a reference number and instructions on how to arrange the return of your goods. Any unwanted goods must be returned unopened and undamaged and a full refund will made provided the goods have been returned within 30 days of your order being cancelled. Please note you may not cancel an order for personalised goods.

  4. Are wines with a cork seal generally better than wines with a screw cap?

    The rising incidence of wines suffering from cork taint has encouraged wine producers to explore other forms of closure, such as the screw cap. Some fresh, dry, aromatic whites such as Riesling or Sauvignon Blanc, and also some fresh frutiy reds, are now regularly using screw-caps with excellent results. For long term ageing of super premium wines the jury is still out on whether cork, or alternative closures, are the best seal. Any of our wines using a screw cap can be clearly identified on the website.

  5. Can I have a personal label on a bottle of wine?

    At present we are only able to offer the personalised label facility on our range of champagne, making it the ideal gift. We can deliver bottles of wine on your behalf as a gift, and would be happy to include a card with your own personal message. Please contact us if you would like more information on this service.

  6. How much will carriage be on my order?

    Our carriage charges are as follows:  (all prices inc VAT)

    £7.99 for orders up to 12 bottles - any mixed case acceptable,

    1 x 24 Bottles Kasteel Cru equivalent to 12 bottles wine

    £4.99 for each additional case of up to 12 bottles to same address

    £5.55 for single bottle champagne, personalised champagne, wine or spirit orders
    No extra delivery charges on gift bags if ordered with wines or other products

  7. Carriage Charges Non Mainland UK

    Orders to delivery addresses outside of Mainland UK incur additional charges as follows:
    Single Bottle Orders:  £5.50 (Standard UK Mainland Rate) Plus Additional £5.00 for non mainland UK
    Orders up to 12 bottles:  £7.95 (Standard UK Mainland Rate) Plus Additional £10.00 for non mainland UK
    Each case 12 bottles thereafter:  £4.95 (Standard UK Mainland Rate) Plus Additional £10.00 for non mainland UK

  8. What are your opening hours?

    We can take orders online at any time, and telephone orders between 9am - 6pm Mon - Fri, Sat 9am - 12.30.    Our premises are open to the public on Wednesdays 9.00 am - 5.00pm, and Thursdays 9.00 am - 4.00 pm (closed lunchtime 1pm - 2 pm.  Alternatively we are very happy to meet customers at our premises outside of these hours by prior arrangement, just give us a call to arrange a convenient time for yourself. 
    Personalised champagne orders for collection should be ordered 24 hours in advance.

    We do NOT take any credit/debit card details on our website! All of our transactions are handled by WorldPay the World's leading Internet payment provider.   2. When will my order be delivered?

    We aim to dispatch all goods within 10 days of receipt of order, and will always try to notify you of any delay. If you require delivery on a specific day please note this on your order and we will do our best to arrange delivery on that date. Deliveries will be made between 0830 - 1700. Additional charges will be made for Saturday deliveries or deliveries by a specified time.

  3. Can an order be sent urgently if required?

    Orders for gifts and personalised champagne will be delivered within the next 2 working days if your order is received before midday. If you have an urgent request for a wine or champagne order to be sent before our usual delivery times, please contact us and we will make every effort to arrange an earlier delivery.

  4. What if no one is home to take my order?

    We use an independent carrier to deliver your order. The carrier will leave a calling card if there is nobody aged 18 years or over available to accept delivery, and you should contact the carrier to arrange redelivery/collection.

  5. What happens if my order arrives damaged?

    All goods must be checked on delivery. In the unlikely event of your order being damaged in transit, please notify the carrier at the time of delivery and ensure it is stated on the carriers' documentation. Please then contact us immediately and we will arrange for the damaged goods to be collected and send you replacement goods as soon as possible.

  7. Can I send wine or champagne gifts overseas?

    We can arrange delivery to any address in the United Kingdom, but are unable to offer delivery services overseas at present. Please note the stated delivery charges are for mainland UK, orders for delivery to addresses outside of this area, e.g. Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, attract additional delivery charges.

    We welcome collection of your order from our premises near Tiptree, we are open to customers:
    Monday 9am - 4.30pm, Tues 10am - 5.00pm Weds & Thurs 8.30am - 5.30pm Fri 9am - 3.30pm

    Grape Passions do not currently have a shop, however we hold regular tasting events at our premises near Tiptree, Essex, please see the news bulletin page for details of any forthcoming events.  We also welcome customers to our premises during the following hours:

  10. What personal information do you collect on the website?

    We collect information when you fill in any registration form and every time you email or provide us with any details.
